The Hubble Telescope has discovered Earendel, the star which is known to be the farthest in the whole cosmos.

When a star has its own name, know that there is something special about the star. Earendal is the farthest known star and means “morning star”.

Capturing of images of Earendel by Hubble is also special because the light that has been captured had been wandering in the universe for like 13 billion years.

Once Earendel was discovered in the southern Cetus constellation by Hubble, the James Webb Telescope with its modern technology, gave even better pictures of it.

Earendel is about 28 billion light years from Earth. Icarus star in the Leo constellation held the record before Earendel and it was not even half this distance from Earth.
