9 people arrested after 'noise-making devices' cause panic at Kentucky State Fair

A mob of individuals caused a frenzy with "noise-making gadgets."

It caused participants at the Kentucky State Fair to think bullets had been shot on Saturday night.

Nine individuals were arrested, six of them minors, after an episode that caused the state fair to early close.

KSP said no actual proof that a weapon was discharged has been found.

Each of the nine individuals arrested were from Jefferson County, and charges included muddled lead, threatening, ownership of taken property and ownership of a handgun.

Authorities said the Kentucky State Fair will go on with ordinary procedure on Sunday, in light of current data accessible.

This year, the fair set evening curfews at 6 p.m., with anybody under 18 being expected to be went with a parent or caretaker 21 years or old.
