Atlanta Braves' Marcell Ozuna arrested  on DUI charge

Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna was arrested early Friday morning and accused of driving affected by liquor.

Ozuna addressed columnists for 18 seconds before the game against the Houston Astros. He said something, yet took no inquiries.

He was likewise arrested on May 29, 2021, on charges of bothered attack by strangulation and battery after cops said they saw him going after his better half.

Following the 2021 arrest, Ozuna was put on administrative leave during a MLB examination and missed Atlanta's World Series title run.

Ozuna was arrested by a Norcross Police official in metro Atlanta and set up for the Gwinnett County prison at around 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Ozuna, 31, is in his third season in Atlanta and in the second year of a $65 million, four-year contract.

Ozuna is hitting .214 with 20 homers and 46 RBI this season. This season's inadequate creation prompted decreased playing time even before the arrest.
