Scientists are researching a strange satellite galaxy belonging to the Tarantula Nebula which lies in the Large Magellanic Cloud and has an orbit around the Milky Way.

Scientists are acquainted with the system and thought there was a giant blue-white star, 25 times bigger than the Sun, in it.

Researchers also suspected a companion star orbiting with it but no light was coming from this friend of the main star.

This is when scientists came to the conclusion that this companion was a “hidden” black hole and it has mass multiple times more than the Sun.

This suspected black hole is a lot smaller and distant from its partner which means that it is unable to attract and swallow any gas.
